Where we Began

Born from a love of indian food, family recipes and the joy of feeding people well.

We started with a small shop, stocking spices, herbs and cooking essentials from around the world. It was here we saw the same problem again and again: people loved authentic Indian food, but felt overwhelmed trying to cook it at home. They were constantly asking how to recreate dishes like Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and other classics—and more importantly, how to get the spices right. So we taught.

Through Indian cooking classes, we tried-and-tested family recipes and helped home cooks build confidence in the kitchen. Over time, one thing became clear: people didn’t just want authentic flavour—they wanted a simpler way to achieve it. That insight became SpicenEasy.

Years of refining and simplifying followed—not to change the recipes, but to make them easier to recreate at home. The result was recipe kits built around quality pre-measured spices, paired with real recipes and fresh ingredients you add yourself. It was convenience, without compromise.

From Indian Roots to Global Flavour

As our family evolved, so did our table.

Growing up in New Zealand, our tastes expanded, and we found ourselves wanting more than one style of food in our weekly routine. Indian cooking remained our foundation—but our pantry was evolving.

Through travel across 25–30 countries, we discovered new flavours, techniques and ways of cooking. From chefs, friends, local kitchens, and meals we never forgot, one thing stood out: great food comes from confident flavour.

So we brought that same SpicenEasy philosophy to a broader world of flavour:
